Use this guide to quickly restart Cluddy Host and reconnect after shutting down or rebooting your VPS or local machine.
1. Connect to your VPSUse the new SSH port you saved during the installation.
MacOS / Linux
Windows (PowerShell)
ssh root@<vps-ip> -p <new-port>
2. Start Cluddy HostOnce connected and variables are set, run:
systemctl start cluddy-host
Wait a few seconds — your Cluddy Host is running.
3. Restart the client (if needed)If you have restarted your local machine, you may need to re-set the Cluddy Client environment variables.See Client environments for details.
✅ That’s it — you’re back online and ready to use Cluddy again.
