The Features and Roadmap columns list the most relevant user-facing aspects of Cluddy — what’s available today and what’s coming next.
Some internal mechanisms, technical details, and implementation specifics are intentionally not disclosed. This is done to keep the focus on real user value and to comply with the End User License Agreement, which prohibits reverse-engineering. You’ll find only what really matters to you as a user — not how it works under the hood.

Features

Text-only communicationSecure exchange is limited to text data — no files, voice, or media.

One account = one license = one hostSimple licensing: one VPS per license per subscription.

RSA-based encryptionCommunication uses asymmetric RSA key pairs only.

Two participants per sessionConnections are strictly peer-to-peer — no group chats or third parties.

Early Access & Basic plans onlyCluddy is currently available under two pricing plans.

Early Access pricing is temporaryAll prices are valid until the Early Access program ends. Access is limited to accepted applicants only.

Host setup assistant (beta) / Cluddy HostupA beta utility helps you configure your VPS for Cluddy Host.

Basic protection against third-party accessCluddy Host restricts unauthorized inbound connections.

Mutual session terminationEither participant can end the session at any time.

Auto-disconnect after 30 minutesSessions automatically expire after 30 minutes to increase security.

Basic error handlingUnexpected states are managed with fallback logic.

No data loggingCluddy does not log any messages, sessions, or IPs.

Local key storage onlyAll private keys stay on your device — never uploaded or synced.

Roadmap

Support for new key formatsPlanned migration to stronger encryption methods like Ed25519.

Multiple licenses per subscriptionOne account will be able to activate several hosts under a single plan.

Advanced planA new pricing tier with extended features is on the way.

Three participants per sessionInfrastructure update to support three simultaneous peers.

End of Early AccessEarly Access will close; special pricing will no longer be available.

Standard plans: Basic & Advanced onlyOnce Early Access ends, only Basic and Advanced will remain.

Improved Cluddy Hostup assistantA more robust version of the host setup utility is planned.
